Dr. Samuel R. Anandan, MD

Dr. Samuel R. Anandan, MD is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine with extensive experience in clinical care, healthcare leadership, and medical education.

 

He currently serves as Clinical Director of Palliative Medicine at Northwell Health’s Staten Island University Hospital–Prince’s Bay and Program Director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at Hofstra/Northwell. Throughout his career, Dr. Anandan has held several leadership roles within Northwell Health, including Director of Palliative Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital.

 

As an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine, he is dedicated to advancing patient-centered care, mentoring future physicians, and improving health outcomes within the communities he serves.
