
Sarah Blas is a Staten Island resident, mother of six beautiful children, fierce community advocate, and public speaker. She has over 10 years experience in the non-profit world and several years in the private sector in branding and communications. She serves as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for SIWWM, Founder and Executive Director of Staten Island Therapeutic Gardens, the only "healing hub" that addresses health disparities in communities of color through sustainable programming and food sovereignty. During the day, she works for the Child Wellness Initiative at the Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness, a public health non-profit organization, whose goal is to reduce the burden of chronic disease among Staten Island Children. In her spare time she can be found advocating for food
justice, championing for equitable housing, registering voters, and consulting for equitable initiatives across NYC.
